Yvonne Daily Artist’s Statement
![]() |
I've always loved to dabble in some kind of art work beginning in grade school to now. In between I have not had any formal training to speak of, but during the late 70's I had the priveledge of sitting with an old school mate named William Dixon. His Native American sense of humor and wisdom taught me a lot on how to truly focus on what I see. So I can say he was the best teacher, for that opened many doors to everything. From there I guess I just played with different mediums and have enjoyed acrylics the most. I love the vibrant colors and the way they handle..I love to paint anything that interests me, from animals,.to people, to landscapes to something out of my imagination. It's all in fun and I hope to enrich peoples lives in some way with my work. |
